The title and relegation battles may be settled, but it is all still to play for in the fight to secure a top-four finish. Arsenal are favourites to record a victory at Newcastle which will see them secure Champions League football next season, while Tottenham are odds-on to keep up the pressure by beating Sunderland.

Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas described Gareth Bale as a 'special talent' after his superb late strike sealed a 3-2 win over West Ham.
m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!

shedzy, so bringing up Henry and the team he played in and then trying to compare it to Bale isn't trying to start a new debate. Go away silly boy

yawn - i wasnt even trying to start a new debate, i was contributing to an existing one - not specifically with you, but with several previous posts in this thread. anyway - if i read one more response from you on this, i think i'll lose the will to live, so i shall bid you a 'good day' and hope that you dont have one on sunday :)

shedzy - try actually starting a genuine debate instead of just telling us how great your team used to be whilst having a dig about our current team and you might actually get a sensible response. To quote from your first post "we really did have a team of exceptional talents, whereas Spurs haven't got anbything right now thats even close to the level of quality ". You get the responses you deserve

dryice - I can see your point and to a cetain extent agree that we're not really clicking at present but we're somehow grinding out the results, something we've never really done in the past, this is certainly something new!

As stated in some comments below you cant have a 1 man team. But you can certainly build your team around 1 man.

Shedzy, no please don¿t explain it ¿ I don¿t think you understand; it¿s boring and you¿re boring. As well as being boring, it¿s also pointless. Nobody is bringing up Henry except you, hence why people may think you¿re trying to crowbar the fact that you were good once into an article about a SPURS player being world class. You seem to have tangled yourself up in an argument that you¿re having with yourself. You can bang on about the past until the cows come home but it doesn¿t mean anything right now.

Sir Mince - you need me to explain it to you? ok. a lot of people are saying 'spurs are a one man team'. spurs fans seem not to like that. the same fans who used to say arsenal were a 'one man team'; but when we had Henry, we had many other world class players, so it wasnt true. Spurs currently have no other world class players, so perhaps it is MORE true of Spurs now than it was of Arsenal then. Still with me? Its not really that hard to follow, but you seem to be struggling to cope. Furthermore - i dont think its arsenal fans lauding Wilshere, i think its much more the press. And finally - i doubt it will be a walk in the park for us on sunday, you lot are favourites and for good reason. I didnt say anything to the contrary.

rhino20-ten - I though the spammers match was way too close for comfort and West Ham had some good chances to get the win. I'm talking about controlling a game, having the team properly click into gear and be comfortable. The West Ham game wasnt like that for me it was a nervy game that could have gone either way. Vintage Spurs for you though I guess.
