Can we finally put an end to the debate that Robert Huth isn't that kind of player? It takes an ogre like him to make Ryan Shawcross look like a 'fair' player.

Funny how Pulis never seems to comment on these occasions. But if someone dives there's no stopping him!

Phew! Gone through y'all comments and I am glad that not everyone is a gooner so does this mean that all football fans are beginning to see the light? It had to take Huth's normal thuggish behavior instructed by you know who before we all finally came to the same consensus that Pulis are Stoke are just a bunch of bullies with empty spaces between their ears....

amc1967, agree in some regards that sending players off for a bit of handbags seems a bit silly. But the Stoke examples from Saturday went way beyond this. Huth's has been well discussed on this comments forum, and let's face it, he gets away with an awful lot each season so deserves everything he gets. But N'Zonzi's was just as bad, given the fact he completely blind-sided Ruiz - it wasn't a bit of shoving and pushing resulting in someone doing something a bit silly, it was an unprovoked punch that Ruiz couldn't possible have seen coming. The ref should be seriously challenged by the FA/PL on why he thought a yellow was sufficient. And as for Pulis claiming to have seen neither incident.....

@addied i've wondered about the cap myself ! It can't be to protect him from the sun as we all know it nearly always rains in Stoke as in the saying 'Messi is a good player but could he do it on a wet night at Stoke' ! He's the only manager who also always seems to jog off the pitch at the final whistle so together with the cap he gives the impression of someone making a hasty exit from the scene of the crime while hiding his identity so make of that what you will !

At long last! This ogre has finally been caught in the act. I saw him at Anfield earlier in the season and was astonished by the things he was getting away with during that game, total baddie wrestler stuff! I've been waiting for this to happen since then.. Knew it was only a matter of time.

I think that the game has gone a bit soft and when you see a tussle on the pitch, people getting annoyed and lashing out, you can think along the lines of 2well he shouldn't have done it...... but in the heat of the moment....." and so on. What made this from Huth genuinely appalling was the clearly pre-meditated nature of it: he set himself, charged at Sanderos and had his forarm raised and in position more than a full stride before making contact. He was clearly intending to deliberately hurt another player, which is inexcusable and should get him a lengthy ban.

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.
