Suarez has been the best player in the league this season IMHO. But, when you take into account that these are voted for by players and journalists, I can't seeing him getting anywhere near either the PFA or Football Writers awards.

Oh fishcake - try again troll. Don't be mad because 'your' best player hasn't been as good as 'ours'.

Let's face it, either of these 3 players would be a worthy recipient based on performances for the season so far. I'd be delighted to see Suarez win but I can't see past RVP as he's in the title winning team.

He won't win it, he's too unpopular and it is debateable he has been quite as good as the other candidates in any case.

He's had more goals, key passes, tackles, recoveries, created more chances and has a better goals-to-minute ratio than Gareth Bale. Why not? He's definitely up there with the consistent top performers this year.

I think there is more chance of Fergie playing up front for LFC next season than this happening!......perhaps if it was judged on performances against the lower half of the table he'd stand more of a chance?
