Lionel Messi: No issues at Barca

The Argentina international leads Barcelona against AC Milan on Tuesday evening, needing to overhaul a two-goal deficit from the first leg.

Despite being clear at the top of La Liga, Barca have suffered back-to-back defeats to arch rivals Real Madrid in the last few weeks.

But, after a weekend win over Deportivo La Coruna, Messi has been quick to dispel talk that the club are struggling.

"We are not in crisis. We have fallen to Milan and Real, two great clubs," he said.

"Admittedly we have not played well, but against the Italians we still have 90 minutes to turn the situation around.

"We can do it. This club has shown on numerous occasions that it is able to overcome any obstacle.

"And now our main challenge is to beat Milan and move on to the next round of the Champions League.

"We want to achieve a lot this season and we cannot afford to fail."
