Zola quiet on Chelsea rumours

Watford manager Gianfranco Zola has played down ongoing speculation linking him with the Chelsea job, insisting it is 'unfair' to discuss the prospect.

This would be yet another knee Jerk hiring (And six months later firing) of a coach at my team. The Watford fan has hit the nail on the head, let him learn his trade, he is a a complete novice when its comes to coaching. It would be about 5 years too soon if Chelsea hire him.

Likeable? We'll sack our little maestro and be 'classless scum' again. Don't do it Gianfranco (as wonderful as it would be to see him back at the Bridge, in other circumstances it'd be a dream come true).

Zola is still learning how to manage. He has not learnt how to use subs to either change or consolidate a game. He has either not got the players or the tactical insight to respond when the team is not playing well. He could be a good coach in a few years when he has more experience. Taking over at Chelsea will be the end of his managerial career.
