glyn82, I agree that Kean should have been gone as quickly as Appleton but, in fairness, when they finally sacked him Blackburn looked like they had a good chance of getting back into the Premier League. They should have let him do that and then sacked him!

This is 100% the FA s fault. How did a bunch of Indian Chicken Farmers got to own a club under the fit and proper owners test?

what fowl owners. The fact that the Venkys were even allowed to buy Blackburn in the first place really ruffles my feathers

Blackburn are the one club where appointed managers INSIST on being called the "Interim" Manager ... it is the only way they can stop their CV's from looking really crap.

I'm pretty sure the male Venky's did not pass the fit & proper test....... just imagine that for a moment....... the people that have gone through Pompey all passed, but these guys didn't. However the female Venky did pass and hence they got their collective hands on the club. Raab619, you should look into Steve Kean's reign at Blackburn a bit more if you're going to pass that kind of judgement.

How many times to other idiot fans need it pointing out that Kean started this mess. falling out with senior players, naive tactics, stupid comments about famous names. How he lasted 6 months is beyond most sensible folk but he dragged us down for nearly 2yrs... How how before Benitez / AVB got grief at Chelsea? Hodgeson at Liverpool? Concentrate on your own teams while us Rovers fans suffer at the hands of these numpties that were somehow allowed to buy our club

I remember when Mandaric owned Leicester City and we had a revolving door installed on the managers office when we got through Rob Kelly, Nigel Worthington, Martin Allen, Gary Megson, Frank Burrows and Ian Holloway in the space of a year. The result was relegation to League One. Blackburn fans, its coming your way. Enjoy
