Suarez tangled with Ivanovic in the penalty area midway through the second half and television footage shows the Uruguayan appearing to bite into the Chelsea defender's arm.

The incident was not spotted by referee Kevin Friend and Suarez went on to earn Liverpool a 2-2 draw by heading home an equaliser in the seventh minute of stoppage-time.

Liverpool boss Rodgers would not be drawn on the implications for Suarez and wants to examine the video evidence before passing comment.

"The only comment at this stage is that we'll review the video of that and make a comment after that," Rodgers told Sky Sports.

"I've only just come straight in after the game. Once I have had a look at that and reviewed it, I will make a comment on it.

"Until I've reviewed it, I can't speak about it, but there were a couple of other incidents you could look at. There was an elbow on Jamie Carragher in the first half that looked pretty bad."

The incident is likely to raise questions over the Liverpool future of Suarez, who was banned for seven games in November 2010 while an Ajax player after biting PSV Eindhoven's Otman Bakkal.

However, Rodgers would not be drawn on Suarez's future, saying: "I've no thoughts on that as of now.

"We're just coming in on the back of a terrific performance in the second half where we had to dig deep and show great personality.

"I've no comment other than on the football."

I

expect Pulis to have a nice Christmas dinner with his family- probably all sitting around the table wearing Christmas themed baseball caps, before he gets the call. Realistically he could end up at any number of clubs, it'll be interesting to see which club folds first.

A

s a Liverpool fan, I personally hate Palace. My pick would probably be Arsenal, which is funny because it seems the vast majority of their own fans don't even like them right now.
