The French Football Federation summoned the QPR player to appear before their ethics committee for a second time after his offensive Twitter outburst about the Brazilian last month.

Marseille swiftly ordered Barton to cut out his comments and he has since apologised to both PSG and Silva.

The 30-year-old, who did not attend the hearing, will only serve the suspension if he uses offensive language again on Twitter and the ban is not related to his actions on the pitch.

Barton is cleared to play in the last three remaining league games for Marseille, who still have an outside chance of winning the title.

enteke is an absolute steal for £32.5m, he would get into any team in the world (except Barcelona) at the moment. I've seen many very good strikers in my 30+ years as a Villa fan. This guy is the best without question.
