Speculation ahead of the summer transfer window continues to suggest that the Gunners will look to bring in a new number one for next season.

Adler is said to figure prominently on Arsene Wenger's wish list, with the Germany international possessing the required experience in both domestic and European competition.

He is, however, tied to a long-term contract in Germany and Hamburg have no intention of allowing that agreement to be broken.

Adler says he is willing to honour a deal which is due to run until 2017, with little attention being paid to the incessant rumours regarding his future.

He told Sport-BILD: "I am under contract with Hamburg, that is a fact.

"I can say that I have not thought about leaving or considered a transfer since I joined Hamburg (in May 2012)."

irst Townsend, now Chiles. What next ITV? Comedy that you can actually watch without vomiting up your own spleen? I'll be sad to see Matt Smith go though. I actually quite like him. Plus, he was good in Doctor Who.

wful, awful pundit. He was crap on BBC, and offered a little more analysis than Robbie Savage - apart from the delivery of banality in a sexy accent. Also, as I'm Irish he'll never be more then a slimy, hand-balling f**ker in my eyes.
