Jamie Vardy: Celebrates in win for Leicester

Jamie Vardy took his Sky Bet Championship goal tally to six with a match-winning brace in the Foxes' win.

Lloyd Dyer claimed Leicester's other goal in a one-sided contest at the King Power Stadium.

Burnley lost 2-1 at Huddersfield, Oliver Norwood and James Vaughan from the penalty spot with the crucial home goals.

Danny Ings' reply came too late for the visitors, who also ended the match with 10 men following the last-minute dismissal of Michael Duff.

QPR slipped up 2-1 at Doncaster, Harry Redknapp's side undone by strikes from forward Theo Robinson and defender Paul Quinn.

Charlie Austin had given Rangers the lead but they were unable to hold on and Quinn's effort a minute from time snatched the points for Rovers.

Blackpool's 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday keeps them fourth in the table, courtesy of goals in each half from Ricardo Fuller and Dan Gosling, while Wednesday suffered their seventh defeat of the season and sit second from bottom.

Yeovil climbed off the table's foot with a 3-0 home win over Watford thanks to goals from Byron Webster, Ishmael Miller and Joe Edwards.

Barnsley now prop up the league after their 3-0 defeat to Birmingham.

Blues right-back Paul Caddis scored his first-ever goal for Birmingham, then followed it up with his second before Nikola Zigic completed the comprehensive win.

Tommy Spurr's header was enough to hand Blackburn a 1-0 victory over Leeds.

Ashley Barnes' equaliser claimed Brighton a point in their lunchtime clash at Bournemouth. Matt Richie scored first for the Cherries, with the game ending 1-1.

Tommy Smith headed the winner for Ipswich in a 1-0 success at Charlton, while Middlesbrough saw off Bolton by the same scoreline thanks to Grant Leadbitter's penalty.

may well get slated by other United fans for this, but out of the three contenders, I'd far prefer Liverpool to win the title. Yes some elements of their fanbase can be a bit OTT, yes they're our biggest rivals and yes it will make our poor season feel even more like the end of an era (Fergie's gone, Liverpool are back on top). However I just have to applaud Brendan Rodgers and the way he's turned Liverpool around in just a couple of seasons. It...

Please Stop Telling Us What To Think

ooray! We are all excited now, we beat a very mediocre team! With all due respect to WHU supporters, not winning that game shouldn't even be a consideration. This is the problem, there is no winning mentality at the Emirates - we're all congratulating ourselves beating a team that we have a winning record against.

Wenger hails important win

s this meant to be an aspiration for United supporters? Moyes mediocrity strikes again. I see the Bayern boys don't want to sign for him, and his reputation amongst the senior European coaches make other key signings unlikely.
