@utd_till_i_die , look up FFP mate, it does not matter where you are on the money list, all that matters is your last (latest) 3 seasons combined balance sheet. Chelsea has their new sponsorship deal (worth more than any in the BPL) coming into effect this financial year, and PSG have the best sponsorship deal in the world. City are doing more than fine and Monaco only risk trouble if they don't qualify for the Champions League, which they most likely will. So don't expect too many stars to come to your "proper club" which will be lucky to qualify for Europa. Good luck attracting the best players and the best sponsor deals with being the 7th best team in the League. Read up on stuff before you decide to run your mouth mate.

isildur1, what FFP catching up? We have just dropped to fourth in money making, and our mega Chevrolet deal begins next year. Get used to clubs like Chelsea, City, PSG, Monaco, etc selling more of their stars and proper clubs buying them.

@dextermorgan Mourinho, Wenger, Klopp etc. Ever heard of them as great players have you? But surely by your logic they aren't good enough to coach great players? What a ridiculously stupid comment...

At last a positive move, world class midfielder all this argument over where he plays. I'd be happy with him alongside Carrick or Fletcher but a really interesting formation would be 4-2-3-1 with RVP back up front and Matta/Rooney/Januzaj the three behind, Fletcher and Carrick as the two deep just see if we can out score the opposition, lets face it doesn't matter how many we throw in defence we still leak like a sieve so lets go for a shoot out. If we can bring in Shaw and Cabaye we stand a chance for fourth which has to be the aim now.

United fans deluding themselves that they can still attract "big" signings...dream on, Jose just pitied u because SAF called him to appeal and save his boy Davey's blushes, he said it himself, he said its good for English football and he also assumed your team is no longer a title challenger since SAF has retired, wise not too old fox, the foxy one!

@dexter morgan, your right average players can never coach top players, Sir Alex for example....ludicrous!

@ jamesbond - can't win the champions league you pillock, he's cup tied so if you win it he can't get a medal. Good luck to Mata, however I did think after the last 7 or so months that we would have been lucky to get 20 million for him. So this is just a case of United jumping the gun and Chelsea taking advantage of it. 40 million on Mata and 25 million on Shaw (if they get him) they are going to have some FFP catching up with them if they don't make Champions League. Oh and new contract for Rooney at 300K per week, absolutely priceless.

This can either go 2 ways ...The current team go " crap theres a good player in the team now , must try harder to impress " ( or at least try ) or " Yay a good player in the team ...Give him the ball all the time , let him do all the work & watch us win ! " Judging by the season so far , can pretty much see what way it will go ( Boy will Juan be stuffed by the end of the season ! )

"see that guy there, Juan? He's sh**e now too... and him, and him, and him, so that casually makes you the best player in the squad, how's that for a Brucie Bonus?"

I

may well get slated by other United fans for this, but out of the three contenders, I'd far prefer Liverpool to win the title. Yes some elements of their fanbase can be a bit OTT, yes they're our biggest rivals and yes it will make our poor season feel even more like the end of an era (Fergie's gone, Liverpool are back on top). However I just have to applaud Brendan Rodgers and the way he's turned Liverpool around in just a couple of seasons. It...

ooray! We are all excited now, we beat a very mediocre team! With all due respect to WHU supporters, not winning that game shouldn't even be a consideration. This is the problem, there is no winning mentality at the Emirates - we're all congratulating ourselves beating a team that we have a winning record against.

I

s this meant to be an aspiration for United supporters? Moyes mediocrity strikes again. I see the Bayern boys don't want to sign for him, and his reputation amongst the senior European coaches make other key signings unlikely.

It's fair to say that the 'Moyes Out' brigade is understandably out in force, whilst there are also staunch defences of Mourinho and Arteta. Plus, Liverpool fans can almost taste it.
