Well done Liverpool. We tried our best but our 1-1 draw against West Ham just wasn't good enough. When was the last time both forwards got triple hat tricks in the first half of a game while four of the opposition were sent off? If only I could speak Scouse I could join in with the celebrations. And particularly well done to Rogers for attempting to resuscitate Pardew after the fourteenth went in - quite sad really but it's probably the way he would have wanted to go.

I agree City deserve the title, they have been immense all season. I never anticipated it would be us to challenge them, always thought that would be Chelsea. I'm delighted with us this season. We have had a fantastic season and so have City. Congrats on the title.

Congrats to city. Can't see a defeat to West Ham. the team on top after 38 games always deserves it. No excuses... Well done lads.

Unless someone does a Joey Barton, there is no way that City will throw this away. West Ham might want to make a game of it, having lost about 20-0 to them in the Carling Cup semi finals, but there is no way they will be able to keep City at bay for an entire 90 odd minutes.

at least its not Mourhinio holding the trophy at the end of the season. Wish we had a squad with as much depth as city. (though we could not afford it)

Zabba. All over bar the shouting mate. If I had to lose it to any of the 'money' teams it would be City. Great football going forward and rigid at the back. Congratulations

Hump, this is City, while I'm confident, until the fat lady is singing(the woman behind me) I won't be counting my chickens..

100 up. City were always going to reach that target, and Sunderland were always going to beat the baggies with relative ease. Imagine my delight on seeing City-3, Sunderland-1 at 14s. Talk about a licence to print moolah. As Yaya almost walked the fourth in I was happier than a kitten following a leaky cow. Anyway, with the exception of a ridiculous capitulation by City have we got one of the most boring last day of the season for years? Nothing left to be decided. I suppose Spurs could let Man U in if they lose at home to Villa, but really?

All Platini is doing is making billionaries pay measly fines, so he and his cronies can get rich. If a fool can pay 50 mil for David Luiz, he will happily pay some fine to UEFA. FFP has failed as for it to succeed UEFA had to take it...
