It has been reported that the Montenegrin defender is wanted by clubs across Europe - with AC Milan and Tottenham Hotspur among those said to be keen.

The 23-year-old has been able to show his true colours since moving to Italy in 2012, with a frustrating one-season stay at Manchester City quickly forgotten.

Having found somewhere that he feels settled, Savic is in no hurry to leave.

He is, however, aware of the speculation surrounding a possible summer switch and has refused to rule out a second shot at cracking the Premier League.

Savic told pobjeda.me: "AC Milan, Tottenham or Zenit in my future? Many of those rumours are just speculation.

"I have a contract with Fiorentina for another two years and so far nobody has told me anything, although the summer is long. We'll see what happens.

"The Premier League? I'm well in Italy, but maybe one day I will play in England again."

One man who has swapped life at Fiorentina for that in the Premier League is Savic's fellow countryman Stevan Jovetic - with title success toasted in his first season at the Etihad Stadium.

Savic said of the highly-rated frontman: "I'm happy for him and for the title won at City.

"He is a great player and deserves an important trophy. I hope that in the next few seasons he won't suffer so many injuries."
