ANY LIFE IN THE OLD POG?
There will be quite a queue for the services of Paul Pogba this summer but suitors will apparently be told by Juventus that he will come at a pretty price - £60m. The Sunday Express claim that Louis van Gaal is interested (why wouldn't he be?), while the player himself is apparently keen to move back to England to be closer to his brother Mathias, currently at League One Crewe.

Sticking with Juventus and some quotes from Van Gaal about Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal - "I always wanted to buy Vidal when he was at Bayer Leverkusen but he went to Juventus" - have got some people a tad excited.

Elsewhere, the Sunday Mirror claim that United are close to a £25m 'swoop' for Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller. It seems very unlikely that he would forego Champions League football to us, but...we're just here to relay this nonsense.

ARSENAL EYE CHAMBERS
Arsenal could solve their right-back problem with a young Englishman, according to the Sunday People. That young Englishman is Calum Chambers, the 19-year-old who shared right-back duties with Nathaniel Clyne at Southampton last season. The Gunners have been watching Chambers in action for England's Under-19 side and could make a move.

According to The People: 'He signed a four-year deal last summer so the fee will be substantial but not in the same league as the £27million being paid by Manchester United for Luke Shaw.'

CITY MOVE FOR PEPE
Well, well. The Daily Star Sunday are claiming this as an exclusive - it's the 'news' that Manchester City will turn to Pepe to partner Vincent Kompany at Manchester City. Are we supposed to believe that they would pay £25m for a 31-year-old? We're not buying this at all but the report claims that Manuel Pellegrini has been 'forced to have a major transfer rethink after first choice, Porto's £35m-rated Eliaquim Mangala, turned his back on the English champions' while 'City also considered switching their attention to Mehdi Benatia, 27, who has been valued at a ridiculous £50m by Roma and is not keen to do a deal'.

Borussia Dortmund's Mats Hummels is also mentioned, and that sounds a whole lot more sensible to us.
