Oh and Liverpool fans, not a criticism, just a general remark, 100k a week seems excessive for a 19 year old, yes he's had a good season, yes he's got potential, but what happened to gradual increases over time with club and international appearances taken into account? And yes, Rooney is massively overpaid, I agree

De Jong, yes please, with a cherry on top. Kuyt, honest and hard working, but we have Valencia so no thanks. Camberleygooner, I hate myself for sinking to your level, but you can't spell Arsenal without Arse, which about matches what you have to say...

De Jong, sure why not.

ces1ne? (Arsenal) says... just wrote a paragraph scolding a ManU supporter for overreacting about something written on a website. Please sit in the corner & think about not only what you've done, but as a 'Pool supporter think of the TWO ironies involved in it.

What is it about transfers which makes some United fans so tetchy? One United fan got really upset by Liverpool's transfers ffs, nothing to do with his club even! So what if United are linked with Dutch players and f365 make a joke about it, get over yourself. If you want to get angry or upset then read NASA's report on the West Antarctic Ice Sheet or WAIS going past the point of no return ie it's going to melt and nothing will or can stop it. That's 2.2m km3 of ice which will melt and raise sea levels globally by 4m or 13 feet, how many football stadiums is that going to drown?

@parsy12, they are, you know, just reprinting the media gossip, as the role of this particular article suggests, with a bit of free analysis and cyncism thrown in. Any "jokes" are surely intended for those who are generally believed to be fee rewarded fabricators of the bleeding obvious rather than sensitive united fans.

Assuming there's any truth in these rumours, for a club that's not going to be bringing in any Champs League revenue ManUre are spending a lot of cash.

Kuyt to United won't happen because, unlike tabloid sports journalists, van Gaal isn't a complete cretin.

ven if United were to sign CR7 & Messi to play upfront, the fact remains Fletcher and Cleverly are playing in midfield. That's where the problem is. Fletcher is too slow with an awful pass, while Cleverly is simply rubbish

rop Rooney (he's so disappointing, overrated and overpaid), and play Di Maria and RVP upfront, much like the set up at the Netherlands team with Roben and RVP...
