Its far too late for it to be Arsenals year ever again. The 2 money clubs have ensured that Arsenal will never win another title. They, like the rest of us, have to pray the 2 billionaires will one day get bored and sod off.

ScRipt69 You appear not to understand the meaning of the word 'legacy'. Fergie achieved great things and his record will stand for ever but he has not created a legacy which was largely in place when he arrived. He did use it very well mind.

This is getting out of hand, reading the comments here you'd be forgiven to think that Arsenal have signed Messi. Last year was the first season he got anywhere near a respectable goal-return (19) for a forward player, coinciding with Barca's worst season since 2008, and if I'm not mistaken the best Barca played this season was when he was out of the team so Messi, Neymar, and Pedro can play. Watching a handful of Barca games, I admit he's a decent finisher sometimes with very good ball control, but he was also easily the most active diver (in a team with Busquets and Neymar!) and struggled to create anything at all for his teammates or himself in terms of chances. Ofcource I concede that as my main critisism of him is that he had trouble influencing the matches he played could just be down to the "Messi effect" which means that maybe I'm being too harsh on him. Seeing as we've seen with Zlatan thats its hard for certain players to leave their mark in Barcelona, but I doubt even the staunched Gaurdiola admirer in Catalunya would argue that Zlatan contributed more in 1 season for them than Alexis did in all his seasons combined. And err, congratulations on the signing Gooners, just to be clear I never said he was "bad" but some perspective is required.

Tiny staff? Isn't that what Sanchez is?

@CamberleyGooner - best to use other websites if you want fast updates on transfers. It took 12 hours for the Sanchez news to be posted here.

Aye. Tiny staff means no 24-hour coverage.

Will Arsenal waste his talent just like they did with Ozil and Arshavin?. Its incredible how those two could go from being two of the most exciting players in Europe to massive flops within one year of playing for Wenger

@Stewalsh, was tempted to ignore you but seeing that you obviously are prepubescent I think it would be appropriate to help you before you get set in your ways; a full stop should not come in the middle of a sentence, I know you just started grammar at school but you could do a bit better son

@Oysterman...really you may not like him but better than Fergie! Come on it'll take some doing, good luck to them I say, I quite like Arsenal when comparing them to the other lot, shame the fans are all w****rs though
