Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal was very happy with his team's performance in their International Champions Cup win over Inter in Washington.

Defo need a new center back just because we have lost 2. as there is no Champs league we will get away wit 1 good CB.

Its nice to see kids from the academy like Reece James, Micheal Keane etc play well. These academy products providing our first team with strength in depth was a staple during the SAF reign and would be great if that continues under Van Gaal. Think the sugar daddy teams have made fans forget that you don't have to buy an entire first team and bench, rather the academy players can step up and provide you options off the bench.

We will definitely need at least one and possibly two defenders if we plan to play a back 3. But Keane, Blackett, Reece etc would provide our defense some strength in depth.

LVG Sir,give the young guys a chance,Run them out in the FA Cup and League Cup,whilst you can tinkle with the first team in the league.Who Knows, we can get a domestic treble in your first year.
