Man City line up Lampard

New York City midfielder Frank Lampard is in talks with Manchester City over a six-month loan deal, according to Sky sources.

@crow...I agree there (although I think it's safe to assume a defender will arrive before the end of the window). It's hard to see him getting too many minutes, perhaps he can teach our players how to take penalties though!

Apparently Lamps was offered a contract extension at Chelsea as was Cole but both left. I know Jose was or is rebuilding but stripped bare? Will City actually use him? Or is he to be used for their Euro campaign. Strange one really seeing as City have such a big squad and strength in midfield and attack, I thought it was a defender they needed.
