The Colombia star has returned to full fitness following the knee ligament injury he suffered at the turn of the year, which prevented him from taking part in the World Cup finals.

But now back to fitness, Falcao has again been linked with a departure from Monaco - with Real Madrid said to have secured first option on him.

"I am better, my knee is improving very well and I well on the pitch," the 28-year-old told Colombian radio station Caracol.

About his future, he said: "I'm focussed on this season. I want to recover well and help the team achieve.

"I am only thinking about getting back to my best and nothing else."

Falcao is a very limited player - it speaks volumes that he was 27 before anyone started taking note of him. Why would Real sign him when they have players like Ronaldo, Bale, Benzema who are all better in his position, even if it is not their natural role? i reckon radamel would do well to join liverpool, at least he will get a game there!

icky van Wolfswinkel's remarkable record of one goal from one game at least deserves an honourable mention. And I'm willing to bet that at least one of Costa, Ulloa or Enner Valencia will earn a place on the list by the end of the season. Probably not Costa
