At least Welbeck can fill the profligacy role. Otherwise I'm not sure how we'd cope!

Why do some players keep getting injured again and again Sturridge, Caroll Persie and its everytime a new injury and that too during training

In all fairness even if Sturridge was fit to play, Switzerland would still win and they will beat England on Monday as they are a better side. You are right a player will get a hat-trick, Geddy76, but it will be Xherdan Shaqiri, who also has the coolest name in football as well.

The hodge will play him anyway and then use that as excuse when England loses.

man of ire (Manchester United) says...

Geddy, you'll be left waiting and waiting mate. Though, I have to say it's going to be great to see what Welbeck can do as a number 1 striker. I have a feeling he's going to get a few at the start and then tail off a bit but I could be wrong. I know I was about Sturridge.

Geddy76 (Arsenal) says...

With Welbeck's new-found Arsenal powers, I expect him to score a hat-trick. ( x^p

So with Rooney dropped by the media, and Sturridge out through injury, that leaves Wellbeck and Lambert to get us through the game. Lets hope neither of them gets injured.
