BLUES TARGET MODRIC
According to The Sun, Chelsea are set to renew their interest in Luka Modric with a £22million bid to bring the playmaker to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
It's been reported that Modric has struggled to settle at Real Madrid and, despite only joining the La Liga champions in the summer, he could soon be on his way.
Chelsea failed with a £40million bid to sign Modric from Spurs in 2011, but Roman Abramovich is apparently still keen to sign the 27-year-old as a replacement for Frank Lampard.
The Sun report: 'Modric is not enjoying the best of season's under ex-Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho and is still adapting to life in Spain.
'And with Mourinho tipped to leave at the end of this campaign, Abramovich is ready to swoop.'
SPURS COULD MOVE FOR WILLIAN
We can't see Willian leaving Shakhtar Donetsk in the middle of the team's Champions League campaign, but The Metro have tipped long-term admirers Spurs to make a move for the Brazilian.
Speculation has been fuelled by Shakhtar's acquisition of Chelsea target 'Iron Mike' Taison, with the Ukrainian champions possibly preparing themselves for Willian's exit.
Andre Villas-Boas has admitted his interest in the playmaker, but suggested Spurs won't be in the market for any big-name signings in January. However, The Metro believe a deal could be done now or in the summer.
SWANSEA MOVE FOR INCE
According to The Daily Mail, Swansea are set to hijack Liverpool's protracted move for Tom Ince.
The England U21 winger has been linked with a return to Anfield since the summer, but so far the Reds have failed to meet Blackpool's asking price. And The Mail claim that the Swans are now set to swoop with a £7million offer.
We're certain that Ince would opt to rejoin Liverpool if a deal can be arranged, but The Mail claim: 'Ince had been expected to complete a move back to Anfield when the transfer window opened but Brendan Rodgers has been frustrated in his atttempts to complete the deal.
'Blackpool rejected an opening offer of £5m and Liverpool are yet to return with an improved bid.'
SUNDERLAND WANT SISSOKO
If you've been following the F365 Transfer Blog, you'll have seen Moussa Sissoko's name crop up several times over the past week, with Arsenal, Newcastle and now Sunderland linked with the Toulouse midfielder.
Sissoko's contract expires in the summer and Toulouse are apparently willing to let the France international leave for a cut-price fee this month, with Sunderland hoping the 22-year-old agrees to join new recruit Alfred 'Curl Up' N'Diaye at the Stadium of Light.
According to The Mirror: 'He has played for France five times and Black Cats scouts have raved about the 6ft 2in midfielder, who has also been watched by West Ham and Everton, hoping for a bargain summer deal.
'The player wants his future sorted out, but there is believed to be a huge agent's fee involved. The deal would still be good value for Sunderland, as the transfer fee is low and Sissoko's wages are in line with their existing pay structure.'
