PSG TO BID FOR NASRI
PSG have been alerted to Samir Nasri's situation at Manchester City after the midfielder's relationship with Roberto Mancini reached breaking point over the manager's claims that Nasri is only playing at '50%' this season.
According to the Daily Mail, Nasri is 'keen to explore' possible destinations in the summer after being 'shocked and angered' by Mancini's public criticism of him last week.
PSG were linked with a move for Nasri when he left Arsenal to join City in 2011 and the Ligue 1 giants are now set to revive their interest with the France international thought to be 'more than open' to a transfer. We're not sure why the Mail have used three words when one, 'keen', would have sufficed.
PSG can obviously afford Nasri's wages and a fee of around £24million - the price City paid for the 25-year-old - and it wouldn't be a surprise to see a deal swiftly concluded as soon as the window re-opens.
SPURS TO OFFER BALE BUMPER DEAL
In case you missed it on Friday evening, Spurs are apparently set to break their wage structure to offer Gareth Bale a new contract worth £130,000-a-week.
The deal would see Bale become the highest-paid player in Spurs' history, but according to The Evening Standard negotiations hinge on whether Andre Villas-Boas' side qualify for next season's Champions League.
'Bale signed a new contract last June tying him to the club until 2016 but Standard Sport understands Spurs are ready to offer him a package significantly improving his current £75,000-a-week wage to stave off interest from Real Madrid and Barcelona,' report The Standard.
'Bale is keen on playing in La Liga and will only consider remaining at White Hart Lane if Tottenham finish in the top four.'
Juventus and PSG have also been linked with the winger in what could prove to be the tedious transfer saga of the summer.
ARSENAL EYE UAE YOUNGSTER
Predictable gossip involving Arsenal now, with the Gunners linked to 'promising youngster' Omar Abdulrahman.
According to the Daily Mail, Barcelona are also tracking the 21-year-old United Arab Emirates star, who represented his country at the London Olympics last year.
Arsenal scouts have apparently made regular checks on the Al Ain forward as they plot a summer bid, but they face competition from Manchester City, Borussia Dortmund, Schalke, Hamburg and Malaga. That's quite the list of suitors.
