King_Kenny - How do you know whether I made it up or not? Are you an officer of The Thought Police from a dystopian Orwellian future sent back in time to monitor football chatter?

varicoseseregent no mate thats just a big load sh*te that you made up yourself. This is actually from a friend of Rooney. I'm only saying it's a bit of gossip I've heard. It's a lot more reliable that the tabloid bollocks.

The media are scum and, really, anyone that believes this sh*t about Rooney needs their heads examined.

@als - are they reporting here? Or are they speculating wildly - making sh*t up, to put it less politely - and then trying to give that speculation a veneer of solidity via the good old 'anonymous sources close to have told us . . . ' ruse? Well, 'anonymous sources' involved in tabloid football journalism have told me that this often means the story is based on nothing at all. As I said, I wouldn't be so cynical, if I hadn't seen them do exactly the same thing on at least two other previous occasions, and if they hadn't come across like a pack of ravenous hyenas in pouncing on Rooney just because he was left out of one game.

I hear that Man City are going to defrost Walt Disney's head and play him upfront in a last ditch effort to haul back United in the league. I heard it off the local tramp who swears he's Mickey Mouse. That's gossip isn't it?

@shoalinpunk - err my moral compass may have left magnetic North but given his off-field antics etc. is'nt it Rooney who is shameless & not reporters for, well, reporting?
