ARSENAL WANT FABREGAS BACK
Arsene Wenger is eyeing a move to bring Cesc Fabregas back to Arsenal, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 27-year-old left the Gunners for Barcelona three years ago, but has struggled to convince the Nou Camp hierarchy of his value to the team. Fabregas was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United last summer and it's thought the Reds could rekindle their interest should he become available.

However, Arsenal have first refusal on a player they sold for £35m, and could sign him back for around the same fee. The Mirror claim that Barca must inform Arsenal if they receive a bid, with Wenger waiting patiently to see if Fabregas is put up for sale.

FELLAINI TO LEAVE UNITED
It looks like Marouane Fellaini could leave Manchester United after just a single season following reports that the midfielder is available for a knock-down fee of £15m.

'Senior officials in charge at United privately concede they may have bought a dud, and rather than prolonging the agony, they would be willing to cut their losses and sell Fellaini in the interests of United and the player himself,' report the Express.

The Belgian's replacement at Old Trafford could be James McCarthy, who joined Everton on deadline day last September after Fellaini made the move to United.

According to Sky Sports, United are ready to offer Tom Cleverley in part-exchange for the 23-year-old, who is set for talks with Everton over a new deal.

The move for McCarthy coincides with reports that Louis van Gaal has pulled the plug on a bid for Toni Kroos. Meanwhile, The Guardian claim that Kroos' Bayern Munich teammate Thomas Muller has rejected the chance to join United.

REMY CHASE HEATS UP
Arsenal and Liverpool have made early moves to sign Loic Remy from QPR, report the Daily Mail.

The striker enjoyed a semi-successful loan spell at Newcastle this season, notching 14 goals in 27 appearances.

'Arsenal have long been linked with Remy while Liverpool are seeking to bolster their squad ahead of a campaign in which they will face the added demands of Champions League football,' claim the Mail.

'Remy, who has been selected in France's World Cup squad, watched from the stands as Arsenal beat West Brom at the Emirates Stadium on May 4.

'However Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger denied he or anyone from the club had asked him along to the game, saying at the time: "I hope he paid for his ticket! I did not invite him."'

Real Sociedad's £18m-rated winger Antonie Griezmann is also thought to be on Wenger's wish list.

ven if United were to sign CR7 & Messi to play upfront, the fact remains Fletcher and Cleverly are playing in midfield. That's where the problem is. Fletcher is too slow with an awful pass, while Cleverly is simply rubbish
