AND SO IT BEGINS
Get ready for the saga of the summer folks, as the morning papers report that Luis Suarez is a £73m target for Real Madrid.

Despite him outlining his desire to stay at Liverpool, the club are reportedly wary of Real's interest and prepared to endure another fight to keep their star player.

'Madrid will also offer various makeweights with Fabio Coentrao, who has agreed a new contract, and Alvaro Morata already mooted,' report the Daily Mail.

Strap in, it's going to be a long old summer.

ARSENAL BID FOR INSIGNE
Ooh, this is interesting. Arsenal fans may be disappointed that the club are set to miss out on Cesc Fabregas, but apparently Arsene Wenger is eyeing Lorenzo Insigne as his first signing of the summer.

According to The Metro: 'Arsenal are ready to make a £17million bid for Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne - if he impresses at this summer's World Cup.

'Wenger has told his scouts to keep a close eye on the 23-year-old, who is likely to play a key role in the Italy squad that will face England, Uruguay and Costa Rica in Brazil.

'Insigne has been watched by Gunners officials in action for Napoli this term, with Wenger being handed glowing reports on him.'

MANGALA WANTS UNITED MOVE
This should bring some cheer to Manchester United fans. According to the Guardian, Eliaquim Mangala has told his agent he would prefer a move to Old Trafford despite Manchester City making an offer for the Porto defender.

However: 'Louis van Gaal is not prioritising the Porto central defender because of reservations over his temperament.

'The Holland coach, who will take charge when their World Cup campaign ends, is an admirer of Mangala but is unsure if the 23-year-old has yet to fully mature.'

He should know the answer to that question by the end of France's participation at the World Cup.

AND THE REST
Mario Balotelli is set to leave AC Milan, but he isn't wanted by his old boss Roberto Mancini at Galatasaray...Liverpool have agreed a five-year deal with young Spanish left-back Alberto Moreno...Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been in touch with Zinedine Zidane over the signing of Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata....Newcastle have moved swiftly to rebuff claims from Leeds' owner Massimo Cellino that they have bid for Ross McCormack...

...Chelsea are looking to snap up Mexican winger Jurgen Damm, according to the player's club Pachuca...Newcastle are looking to sign Siem de Jong from Ajax...Everton have opened talks with Chelsea over another deal for Romelu Lukaku...Arsenal have had an initial offer of around £6m rejected by Cardiff for goalkeeper David Marshall...Inter Milan are in talks over a move for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez.

So RM value Suarez at £10m or so less than Gareth Bale? That alone should tell Suarez to give them the two fingered salute. He's worth £100m easy, either pay up or f*** off.

ven if United were to sign CR7 & Messi to play upfront, the fact remains Fletcher and Cleverly are playing in midfield. That's where the problem is. Fletcher is too slow with an awful pass, while Cleverly is simply rubbish
