WENGER WANTS CASILLAS
Arsene Wenger is plotting a bid to bring Iker Casillas to Arsenal to provide competition for Wojciech Szczesny, claim the Daily Mail.

The 33-year-old has been forced to accept a tough rotation policy at Real Madrid, which could tempt him into leaving the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

'Wenger is hopeful Casillas' compatriot Santi Cazorla and former team-mate Mesut Ozil can convince him to make the switch to the Emirates,' report the Mail.

'Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Cardiff keeper David Marshall and have had a £6million bid rejected.

'(Spanish paper) AS, meanwhile, claim that Wenger will move for Malaga's Willy Caballero or Saint-√Čtienne's Stephane Ruffier if he can't sign Casillas.'

MAN UNITED AND LIVERPOOL EYEING PEDRO
According to the Daily Mirror, Manchester United and Liverpool are tracking Barcelona forward Pedro, who has admitted his future is uncertain at the Nou Camp.

The 26-year-old is currently with the Spain squad preparing for the World Cup, but is aware he might not feature in new manager Luis Enrique's plans when he returns to Barca.

"I don't know what will happen with my future," Pedro told Mundo Deportivo. "When something has to be decided I will talk to the club and see what happens."

FERDINAND REJECTS VILLA
Rio Ferdinand has rejected the chance to join Aston Villa on a free transfer, claim the Daily Star.

The 35-year-old is available on a free transfer after leaving Manchester United and has also been linked with a move to QPR and the MLS.

'Villa yesterday brought in former Arsenal man Phillipe Senderos to help shore up their leaky defence which shipped more goals than any club outside the relegation zone last season,' report the Star.

'And it appears they wanted Ferdinand to play alongside the Swiss international.'

All Platini is doing is making billionaries pay measly fines, so he and his cronies can get rich. If a fool can pay 50 mil for David Luiz, he will happily pay some fine to UEFA. FFP has failed as for it to succeed UEFA had to take it...
