FELLAINI ON HIS WAY...
Manchester United fans could have saved Louis van Gaal the bother of watching him in action but - according to the Daily Mail - the new boss has echoed the thoughts of the majority in telling his associates that he 'is not a United type of player'. He is now up for sale - for considerably less than the £27m they paid Everton at the end of last summer.

Meanwhile, according to Sky Sports, Manchester United have been told they can sign midfield target William Carvalho this summer - but he will cost them £37m. He already looks like more of a 'United type of player' than Fellaini.

WHERE NEXT FOR SANCHEZ?
The folks over at Goal.com have gone balls-out with this claim: 'Arsenal have tabled a £32million bid for Alexis Sanchez as Arsene Wenger prepares a charm offensive to land the Chile World Cup star ahead of rivals Liverpool, Goal can reveal.'

The gist of the story is that Wenger himself will meet with Sanchez's agents in Brazil in an attempt to persuade the highly-sought-after Chilean to join Arsenal ahead of Liverpool, Manchester United or Juventus. Respected Spanish football expert Graham Hunter has said that it is highly unlikely that Sanchez will end up at Liverpool.

In case you missed it yesterday afternoon, Manchester United have - accrording to reports in Italy - tabled a £32million offer for Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado.

h Daniel. I could spend hours on this subject putting the world to rights. You can even take a step back and ask why football fans (and society in general) have this need to know that something will happen before it actually does. There are times this important, when it comes to things like war, food production and natural disasters. A man you've never met changing his job? Not so much.

reat article. Hits the nail on the head. Encapsulates why I don't read tabloid newspapers anymore. The only thing worse is the 'told you so first' headline when they get lucky.
