WENGER COURTING CASILLAS
Arsene Wenger is said to have been in contact with Iker Casillas to convince the goalkeeper to rebuild his reputation at Arsenal.

Casillas is second choice at Real Madrid and endured a nightmare World Cup campaign with Spain; Wenger hopes to convince the Real captain to leave the Spanish capital, according to Mundo Deportivo, who also report that London is Casillas's preferred destination if he does make a move this summer.

Confusingly, Arsenal are also being linked with Espanyol stopper Kiko Casilla, who it was reported this week is a target for Real Madrid, along with Kaylor Navas, as Carlo Ancelotti looks to overhaul his goalkeeping ranks.

Staying with Arsenal, according to Sport, the Gunners are competing with Malaga and Olympiakos to sign perennial mover Bojan, who astonishingly is still contracted to Barcelona.

TERMS LAID OUT FOR JAMES
Real Madrid have some bargaining to do if they are to get their hands on James Rodriguez.

Monaco would be willing to do a deal for the Colombia star if Real arrive in the principality with an offer of £55.5million. The Champions League winners, though, are only willing to go as high as £47.5million.

It is hardly a gaping chasm between the two valuations, so you might think that a deal is likely to be agreed, especially given the possibility of Real throwing in a player or two.

OLD LADY EYES EVRA
Despite signing a new one-year contract with Manchester United, Patrice Evra continues to be linked with a move away from Old Trafford.

Juventus are in a strong position to lure the left-back away from Old Trafford, with Tuttosport claiming that the Frenchman is sold on the idea of joining Paul Pogba in Turin.

Evra is aware he will not play regularly after the arrival of Luke Shaw, and Juventus can offer the 33-year-old Champions League football, as well as a two-year contract worth £5.5million.

AND THE REST:
Arsenal believe they are ahead of Liverpool in the race to sign Alexis Sanchez this summer...Arsenal also expect to complete a £12m deal for Mathieu Debuchy and have lodged a £23.8m offer for Sami Khedira...But the Gunners have withdrawn their interest in Mario Balotelli...Southampton are closing in on Graziano Pelle and FC Twente midfielder Dusan Tadic...Leeds United are targeting former Italian Under-21 goalkeeper Marco Silvestri...Bruno Zuculini will sign for Man City on Friday... Newcastle transfer target Clement Grenier says he is ready to quit Lyon...Neil Taylor's Swansea City future hinges on whether Ben Davies remains at the Liberty...

...Sporting Lisbon are lining up Kano Pillars midfielder Shehu Abdullahi as a replacement for United target William Carvalho...Alvaro Morata has told Real Madrid that he wants to move to Juventus...Atletico Madrid are leading the race ahead of Everton for Romelu Lukaku...Victor Valdes' agent says Monaco will not be allowed to pull out of the four-year deal they have with the former Barcelona goalkeeper...Bayern Munich have left it too late to satisfy Toni Kroos, who will join Real Madrid...Ryan Gauld will earn £7,000-a-week at Sporting Lisbon...Juventus would use funds raised from the sale of Manchester United target Arturo Vidal to make an offer for Alexis Sanchez...Newcastle have turned down the chance to sign Micah Richards...Gary Medel is a target for Celta Vigo and Inter Milan.

A highly respected French football journalist tweeted that he understood arsenal would be signing Sanchez and Schneiderlin. He broke the stories that koscielny then Giroud would be joining Arsenal so probably worth taking note of. No mention of Khedira. Debuchy seems logical.

All Platini is doing is making billionaries pay measly fines, so he and his cronies can get rich. If a fool can pay 50 mil for David Luiz, he will happily pay some fine to UEFA. FFP has failed as for it to succeed UEFA had to take it...
