John Terry: Out of contract in 2014

The 32-year-old defender's current five-year deal expires in 2014, but having been integral in the successes of the 10-year Roman Abramovich era, the former England skipper has been a more peripheral figure this season.

"I've got a year left at Chelsea after this," Terry said in the London Evening Standard.

"People have spoken about no new contract and this kind of thing but it's not even on the agenda at the moment.

"They may sit down with me once the season has finished and we'll start talking then.

"Whether it's a yes or a no I'll continue to give my very best until my contract finishes."

Terry has endured a challenging campaign which featured a lengthy absence due to a knee injury, while the skipper has also missed out on selection for some key fixtures, including the FA Cup semi-final loss to Manchester City.

Chelsea's policy is to offer those over 30 years of age only 12-month deals and left-back Ashley Cole signed a one-year extension in January.

Midfielder Frank Lampard is 35 in June and his current deal expires this summer.

It is uncertain where Lampard will play next season.
