Aberdeen have confirmed they are releasing seven out-of-contract players and will let another pair of Pittodrie regulars find new clubs.

Derek McInnes: Making changes to his squad

Dons boss Derek McInnes will not renew deals for Rory Fallon, Mitch Megginson, Rob Milsom, Gary Naysmith, Isaac Osbourne, Gavin Rae and Dan Twardzik when their current deals expire at the end of the month.

Midfielders Stephen Hughes and Jordon Brown, meanwhile, have been informed they are free to look for a new club.

The Reds also confirmed youngsters Scott MacAulay, Zach Szemis, Stuart Close and Jamie Hamilton will be leaving the club too.

McInnes said: "It's one of the least enjoyable aspects of the job to tell players that they won't be staying and I would like to thank all of them for their contribution to this football club.

"Each of them are excellent professionals and we wish them all the very best in their future careers."

McInnes does, however, plan to offer striker Josh Magennis a new deal.
