Velez' sports director Christian Bassedas has denied that Manchester City have made a bid for right-back Gino Peruzzi.

Velez have denied that Manchester City have made a move for Gino Peruzzi

The 20-year old has attracted interest from a number of European clubs since making his debut for the Argentinian national team last year.

City, alongside Inter Milan were reported to amongst the teams chasing the youngster but Bassedas says that no contact has been made from either club.

"Inter Milan want Peruzzi? I don't know, you have to ask them," he told fcinternews.it.

"Officially, there has not been contact but there is definitely an interest from their part.

"The interest of Manchester City? Right now there are only rumours but there are no official negotiations."
