Fabio Capello: Thought to be on PSG's radar

Fabio Capello's son and lawyer, Pierfilippo, has moved further to play down the link between his father and the Paris Saint-Germain job.

With much talk of boss Carlo Ancelotti taking the vacant Real Madrid post, it is thought that Capello, the current Russia coach, is in-line to succeed him at the Parc des Princes.

Speculation was rife after the former England boss was spotted meeting PSG Sport Director Leonardo in Paris.

However, after Capello himself denied the any talks had taken place, Pierfilippo reiterated his father's stance, insisting it was nothing more than a meeting of friends.

"It was a meeting planned a long time ago," Pierfilippo told L'Equipe

"He knows Leonardo for 15 years, they are just friends, and talked about players and other things.
