Neymar out to make history

Neymar is ready to upset his future team-mates and make it a hat-trick of Brazil Confederations Cup wins on Sunday.

Brazilian football's latest superstar is Barcelona-bound this summer and will come up against as many as nine Camp Nou regulars in the Maracana.

But the forward's priority is delivering success for his compatriots on the back of their successes in 2005 and 2009.

He said: "We will be playing for our families, our friends, but above all for the Brazilian nation.

"We are ready for what will be an historic match, and we shall be defending our country.

"This will be a real final showcasing great players. It should be a great game and I just hope I come off happy and a champion.

"I will just go out there and do what I always do to help my team - take free-kicks, spray passes around, score goals. I want to help the team."
