The 22-year-old left-back watched the goalless draw with Hartlepool from the stands before he signed an initial one-month deal at Huish Park on Monday.

Gordon, who can also play in midfield, came through the Leeds academy before joining the Blues in 2007. He spent loan spells with Tranmere, Kilmarnock, Scunthorpe, Peterborough and then Birmingham before departing Stamford Bridge.

He is set to be available for the Glovers' clash with Crawley on Tuesday night.
