The deal comes as Serie A side Napoli had the option to match Shakhtar's offer but decided not to do so.

The Brazilian international reportedly preferred a move to Napoli rather than Shakhtar but will now ply his trade with the Ukrainian side.

Gremio president Fabio Koff confirmed the 21-year-old is leaving the club.

He told Zero Hora: "We received a message from Napoli informing us that they had no interest in the player, so we finalised the transfer."
