The 27-year-old moved to the Stadio Olimpico from Udine in January and scored three goals in 16 league appearances to help Torino secure their top-flight status.

A statement published on torinofc.it read: "Torino have reached an agreement with Udinese to renew the agreement concerning striker Vitor Barreto, who will once again wear the Granata shirt for the 2013-14 season."

The Rio de Janeiro-born forward originally signed for Udinese in 2005 but enjoyed his best spell in Italy during three years with Bari, for whom he scored 41 league goals before returning north in 2011.

Loads of aimless dribbles and 40 yard shots and not much else. I would say that if he had learnt to be a bit more of a team player he may have done better at City.
