Frenchman Yohann Lasimant has signed a one-year deal with Leyton Orient after a successful trial spell.

The 23-year-old scored twice in the recent friendly with Chelmsford and manager Russell Slade is delighted to have the attacker on board.

"Yohann impressed us on trial and though he had one or two other options on the table, he enjoyed his time here and we're pleased to have him sign," Slade told the club's official website.

"There's still a bit of work to be done with him but he's got good pedigree and has shown good potential plus he's capable of playing in a couple of positions as he can play wide or off the striker."
