The 23-year-old has signed a two-year contract with the option of a further year, the Championship club confirmed on their website.

Grant arrived at Rochdale from Accrington Stanley last summer and went on to make 35 league starts last season in League Two, scoring 15 goals.

He had just one year left on his Spotland deal.
