Austin, who has scored more goals this season than Lionel Messi, Radamel Falcao and Cristiano Ronaldo to become Europe's leading marksman, joined Hull striker Aaron McLean, Blackpool's Kevin Phillips, MK Dons captain Dean Lewington, Aldershot's Guy Branston and Dean Windass on Thursday night's show on Sky Sports News Radio.

Austin revealed he never sets goal targets, but is already keen to get another 20 goals for Burnley this season and is fully focused on the job in hand at Turf Moor.

Austin said: "I don't set targets at the start of the season. I just look to score as many as I can. To get 20 goals so early in the season is great and hopefully I can kick on now and get another 20."

Blackpool frontman Kevin Phillips says he's had a brief chat with new boss Michael Appleton, but wants to sit down with the former Portsmouth boss next week to find out what the future holds for him at Bloomfield Road.

Phillips said: "I haven't had chance to have an in depth conversation with him (Michael Appleton) and that will happen over the next week or so. Obviously I want to ask him how he sees my future at Blackpool. But it's a clean slate and I'll be looking to impress on the training ground."

And McLean reveals his frustration at his lack of first-team action and says that former Peterborough team-mate George Boyd is an 'unbelievable talent' and someone you need to base your team around.
