Berlusconi has made no secret of his admiration for Manchester City striker Balotelli, with comments attributed to him sparking transfer speculation.

He would welcome the opportunity to bring the former Inter striker back to Milan, but is adamant that no swap deal would be sanctioned.

Pato is the man reports suggest Milan would be willing to part with in order to bring Balotelli on board, but Berlusconi insists the Brazil international will be going nowhere.

He told Milan Channel: "An exchange involving Pato and Balotelli? I don't like exchanges.

"Pato is definitely not on the market. He is one of our best players and has the opportunity to become an icon here over many years.

"Unfortunately, his frequent injuries have been a problem, but we just need to handle him right.

"AC Milan is the perfect setting for him."
