The sad thing is that Spurs didn't even have to play well to win. We had the opportunities to test their defence and our midfielders didn't take them. We had the chance to stop the goals we conceded but we didn't do it. And the worst thing of all is that no one at the club is going to learn a thing from this performance, especially the manager.

'What happened today we have seen repeated so many times in big games that of course it's difficult...On the two goals we played offside in a position where we shouldn't play offside'. At what stage does it sink in that repeating the same mistakes over and over, including so many unnecessarily conceded goals, means that something needs to change in the manager's approach?
