Ben Foster has done his best to look like a bell end here hasn't he? That Fabio guy had me training loads and didn't let me go on the swings. Now Uncle Roy is in charge we've got a swingball and everything.

Bottler in 'didn't fancy it much' shocker! Shouldn't have called him up ever again. Retiring from or completely rejecting international football is fine, picking and choosing depending on your mood shouldn't be acceptable. Should he get picked and make a mistake in a game I think he'll quickly wish he'd never "made himself available" and slink off again.

macca - Fair enough lud, I suppose in hindsight Roy and Liverpool was never going to work. He tried, he failed, we all move on. And yes, I know Liverpool are a much bigger club than we will ever be, it's just fun when a huge team drops into our bracket. We'll be competing with Arsenal next year.

@fuzzy dunlop, my mistake i ment Foster and not the FA. Wont fault Hodgson for been England manager they need to try something diff maybe Roy is the man he just wasn't right for Liverpool. Were not battling out with you for 7th, we are having another in different season while you lot are having a good one. But that doesn't change the fact you are still a small team.

poor Ben, imagine having to work under a manager who was serious... maybe the reason these players failed so badly in 2010 WC was because they were too thick to understand Capello. As for being negative, jesus... did you see the Italy game last year?

Dig at the FA for what exactly? Hiring him? Roy hasnt done an awful lot wrong since taking over. But you're right, not good enough for a massive club like Liverpool, who depsite all the history, tradition, stadium, money spent, media bias and of course the bestest fans ever, still find themselves duking it out with little-ol' West Brom for 7th place. Not on is it?
