Neil Lennon: Touchline ban kept him in the stands for Inverness game

The manager had called on supporters to come and party in Parkhead as his side chased the point required for a 44th Scottish championship.

And a packed Celtic Park duly obliged as the Hoops shook off the torpor of a drab opening period to rattle in four second-half goals and win 4-1.

"The supporters are just unique in world football," said Lennon, whose touchline ban left him celebrating a second title as manager from the stands. "They give the players an extra step, they inspire the team.

"Winning the league is a very special moment, I want the players to enjoy it.

"We were okay in the first half, second half we really came through. It's a great way to win the championship. While I'm here I want to win things and winning the championship is always very special.

"It's a privilege to manage this club and to win this championship again, I'm so proud for the players and the fans - they're the people who make this club what it is."

ven if United were to sign CR7 & Messi to play upfront, the fact remains Fletcher and Cleverly are playing in midfield. That's where the problem is. Fletcher is too slow with an awful pass, while Cleverly is simply rubbish
