The three websites under the Sky Sports Digital Media umbrella, SkySports.com, TEAMtalk.com and Football365.com, are this season out to prove they know better than the bookies.

Every Friday, a writer from each website will attempt to predict the outcome of the Super 6 games that weekend, while Dale Tempest will be representing Sky Bet in the free-to-play football predictor game.

For each correct result our tipsters call, their website will receive two points, while predicting an exact scoreline will earn them five points.

Last week's games

Arsenal 1 Aston Villa 3

Norwich 2 Everton 2

Sunderland 1 Fulham 1

West Brom 0 Southampton 1

West Ham 2 Cardiff 0

Reading 3 Watford 3

Perhaps unsurprisingly, nobody predicted Villa's 3-1 victory at Arsenal, but Football365's Sarah Winterburn correctly called the draw at Carrow Road, as did Sky Bet's Dale, although both went for 1-1 rather than 2-2 to earn themselves two points rather than the maximum five.

Three of our four tipsters also fancied a draw at the Stadium of Light, with Pajtim Kasami's goal for Fulham costing our quartet the chance of points in that game.

Dale predicted Southampton's win at West Brom, however, earning himself another two points, while he claimed five points for correctly tipping West Ham to beat Cardiff 2-0.

TEAMtalk's Mark Holmes also called the 2-0 scoreline in that game for five points, with F365's Sarah and Sky Sports' Jon Holmes claiming two points apiece for backing the home win.

Mark and Sarah claimed another two points each for correctly predicting a draw between Reading and Watford.

Week 1 points: Sky Bet (Dale Tempest): 9; TEAMtalk (Mark Holmes) 7; Football365 (Sarah Winterburn) 6; Sky Sports (Jon Holmes) 2.

t's why Mourinho is so successful. He gives players a specific, limited set of functions to perform. They are but a cog in a machine. Do no more, do no less. I assume he learnt it from LvG :)

really hope that someone in the mainstream media spots that the Bayern manager played for and managed Barcelona quite well, and thinks to mention it in the build up. That would be really interesting.
