Bayern Munich and Barcelona are both chasing Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny, according to the player's agent.

Laurent Koscielny: Target for Bayern Munich and Barcelona

Koscielny's future at Arsenal has been the subject of conjecture this summer, with the defender hinting he could move on if the club fail to challenge for silverware.

European champions Bayern and Spanish titans Barcelona are both thought to be long-term admirers of Koscielny and could be ready to test Arsenal's resolve to hang onto the 27-year-old.

Koscielny's agent, Stephane Courbois, admits the Frenchman is on Bayern and Barcelona's wanted list.

"There is interest. I know that Laurent is part of a shortlist of three or four players for both clubs," said Courbois.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger would be reluctant to lose Koscielny with the centre-back impressing at the back end of last season and establishing himself in the starting line-up at the expense of Thomas Vermaelen.
