Daniel Carrico: Set for a loan move to Spain

The 24-year-old, who can play at centre-half or in midfield, has arrived in Spain and is due to undergo a medical with Primera Division side Sevilla today.

Carrico made just three Premier League appearances for relegated Reading after joining the club from Sporting in January, agreeing a contract until the summer of 2015 with the Royals.

Sevilla announced on their website that they the option to buy Carrico following his loan spell and that, if all goes well,. the player will be presented to the media on Wednesday alongside new signings Carlos Bacca and Jairo Samperio.
