Carl Ikeme: Wolves' stopper adds to manager Stale Solbakken's woes

Ikeme was replaced by Dorus De Vries after sustaining the injury in the second half and it remains to be seen how long he will be absent, with Bristol City next on the horizon for Wolves at Ashton Gate on Saturday.

Wolves boss Stale Solbakken told the club's official website: "Hopefully it is not a very big injury because he continued to play for a while - we will see how he is today."

With so many of his players on the sidelines, Solbakken admitted his options have been limited.

"We are in the situation where we have four or five players waiting in the wings in a month or two that will make the competition stronger," he said.

"At the moment, if players are struggling physically or mentally, we can't really rest them."
