Javier Pastore: Not spoken to anyone about swap deal

With the Argentinian playmaker struggling to make an impression in the French capital, and the Holland international marginalised at the San Siro due to a contract dispute, reports in both countries have suggested a January exchange would satisfy both parties.

But Pastore, who joined PSG from Palermo for a reported fee of 40million euros in 2011, is unaware of any approach for his services.

He told Sky Sport Italia: "I can certainly say that no one has spoken to me.

"I'm happy here and I want to stay and improve alongside everybody else. I'm pleased that a big club like Inter is thinking about me, but now is not the time to return to Italy."

Inter president Massimo Moratti, who maintains Sneijder's exclusion from the first team is a tactical decision, is happy with his current options.

"Between Sneijder and Pastore? I'd keep Wesley, because he's the best out there," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"There has been too much talk about Sneijder and this is a media problem above all else. I have an excellent relationship with the guy."

Sneijder won the treble under Jose Mourinho in 2010 but has not featured for the Nerazzurri since September, with head coach Andrea Stramaccioni even leaving him out of tonight's dead rubber meeting with Neftchi Baku in the Europa League.

The 28-year-old issued a statement on Monday underlining his decision not to accept reduced financial terms on his current five-year deal with the Milan giants.
