The mid-table Canaries have lost seven of their last 10 matches ahead of tonight's Barclays Premier League clash with Tottenham, including a 5-0 loss to Liverpool and the 1-0 defeat to Luton which saw them become the first top-flight side to exit the FA Cup to non-League opposition in the Premier League era.
The miserable run followed a 10-match unbeaten streak, which included a Capital One Cup triumph over Spurs.
Hughton admits he is worried by the form slump, but had the same points total come from a more topsy-turvy stretch it would be looked at more favourably.
"It's a question of fine-tuning," Hughton said.
"We know where we are. We had this very good run, we've been on a bad run.
"It is a concern, because it has to be. You'd rather be picking up points than not, but these are the things you have to deal with in the game.
"There's always pressure. There's pressure going into every game that we play. We have to get back to decent form."
Norwich have one point from 18 entering the fixture with Spurs, who lost their FA Cup fourth-round clash to Leeds.
The Canaries, though, have performed well against Tottenham this term and Robert Snodgrass is optimistic.
"It's a great time to have a midweek game and hopefully we can get back to winning ways," said Snodgrass, who scored his first Canaries goal at Spurs earlier this term.
"We've already beaten Spurs at home (in the Capital One Cup). We ran them close down there at White Hart Lane (drawing 1-1).
"It will be a tough task, but I believe we've got the character, strength, depth, the full lot in the squad that we can go and do it."
After conceding five goals at Anfield, Snodgrass knows Norwich must be defensively sound to have any hope of beating Tottenham.
He said: "They're first class. They go forward in numbers, they create.
"Defensively we need to be on our day if we want to stop them."
Snodgrass admires the attacking qualities of Gareth Bale, but knows the Canaries cannot pay him too much attention as Spurs have other players capable of causing them trouble.
He added: "You need to be on your guard with him, but you try to double up on him you've got other players - Jermain Defoe, Aaron Lennon. They've got attacking options from everywhere.
"We know what to expect when they show up and I think they will know as well that we've got quality that can hurt them."
