Edgar Davids: Mixed emotions

Ryan Brunt grabbed an injury-time winner to move the Pirates out of the League Two relegation zone after Barnet substitute Harry Crawford had equalised Fabian Broghammer's 77th-minute strike in the final minute.

Davids said: "If we had taken a point I would have been very happy because at times some of our football was unbelievable.

"We played the ball out from the back and enjoyed some really good spells but the lesson we have to learn is that you need to concentrate for every one of the 90 minutes.

"Football-wise we are definitely on the up and I see so many things to give me encouragement.

"But it is all about results and we have lost a game we should have taken something from so I cannot be happy."

m starting to think Roman may never actually be happy at the top level. If he wants all conquering fancy football I wonder if he'd be better off buying a lower division side then paying outlandish salaries to attract high caliber players too good for the division.

afa has to be favourite for the Everton job now, surely :) He'll realise his ambition to live and work on Merseyside again, get the best out of whoever plays for them, maybe win some cups and be thoroughly loathed by the toffee fans. What's not to like? Go ead, Ken, gimajob!

hat is arguably the least inspiring England I have ever seen. There is not a single name in that list that makes me think I might actually want to watch this team. Not a one.
